William Binnings
| In a world of outsourcing, subcontracting, and L.L.C., sculptor, Bill Binnings, may be an anachronism. He has no staff, no entourage, no assistant, other than the loyal friends who hold the other end of the “pot” on pouring day and get paid with barbeque ribs if times are good. He simply works hard in the solitude to produce, one-at-a-time, lovely bronze sculptures that say in unequivocally clear notes that life is good. Binnings’ armatures, clay maquettes, wax patterns, and unfinished castings that populate the work space tell the real story of this hands-on sculptor. |
