Clint Rather

View slide showSLIDE SHOW   ARTIST INFORMATION  BIOGRAPHY

Herb Rather is a master of watercolor. Some of his favorite subjects are the Gothic windows and gargoyles of the French cathedrals and the ornate Victorian houses of Galveston. His tastes are wide-ranging, however, and he applies his brush with equal precision and interest to flowers, jazz musicians, and locomotives. Rather is a signature member of both the American and National Watercolor Societies, an honor accorded only those who meet rigorous requirements and gain acceptance into juried shows sponsored by those organizations. He has the additional honor of being named named Dolphin Fellow in the American Watercolor Society. His work has been published in numerous books and magazines, including Southwest Art Magazine and American Artist Magazine.
